🌙✨ The Healing Power of Castor Oil Packs ✨🌙

Castor oil packs have become a transformative part of my self-care. I first began by placing a little castor oil in my belly button at night to help with my sleep rhythm. When I started my detox journey, I went deeper into this practice, ordering a full castor oil pack—and wow, what a game changer it’s been!

This ritual allows me to release both physical and emotional blockages. When I place the warmed oil pack on my lower abdomen, I visualize letting go of what no longer serves me. It’s a moment of pure connection with my body, soothing tension, enhancing circulation, and aligning with my natural cycles. For those of us navigating the ups and downs of our moon time, castor oil helps balance hormones and ease menstrual discomfort, reminding us of our strength as women.

Beyond the physical benefits, this practice deepens my connection to Mother Earth and my inner wisdom. With each castor oil session, I feel detoxified, renewed, and more in tune with the divine feminine energy that flows through us all.

✨ My Castor Oil Pack Ritual:

• Organic castor oil (I use Golden Organic Castor Oil)
• A soft cloth or flannel, plastic wrap, and a heating pad
• Intentions set with love and care, embracing this sacred moment for healing

This year, I had the profound honor of hosting my mother for six beautiful weeks in Costa Rica. Each time we come together, we peel back layers of vulnerability and open our hearts a little more. This time was particularly special. We shared untold stories, unveiled secrets, and explored what it means to live from the womb. Together, we journeyed to the ocean’s edge, offering our prayers. We cooked, cleaned, laughed, and simply lived side by side. These moments of togetherness were deeply nourishing, healing, and refreshing.

I’m sharing this because I know many women don’t have this kind of relationship with their mothers. Throughout our time together, people would approach us, moved by the connection they saw between us. But this bond wasn’t always there—it’s taken nearly a decade for us to truly see, forgive, and love each other. We had to express difficult truths, cry together, and ask why we’d been pushing each other away.

If you’re struggling to connect with your mother, I want to encourage you to do the inner work. If you’re not ready to reach out with a call or letter, continue your healing journey—whether it’s through Hoʻoponopono, writing down your prayers, or offering them to the fire. And if your mother is no longer in your life, allow Pachamama, our Great Mother, to embrace you with her nourishing love.

A few months ago, I gifted myself a solo journey to the breathtaking hot springs of Arenal, Costa Rica. The water felt like pure magic, gently holding me as I listened to the whispers of my heart. In that quiet space, I came to understand something so essential: we all need time alone.

In the busyness of life, it’s easy to lose touch with ourselves. We get caught up in the noise of daily responsibilities and other people’s needs, but when we step away, we create space for something sacred: deep connection with our inner world. Solo time is when we get to reflect, reset, and hear our own voice again—the one often drowned out by external demands.

It’s in those moments of quiet that we can sit with our emotions, process our experiences, and integrate life’s lessons. Without this time, we risk carrying unresolved feelings, leaving them unhealed as we move forward. Nature asks us to slow down, to digest what we’ve been through, and to love ourselves enough to make space for it all.
